Cancelled: Get Rid of Unwanted Procrastination -- presented by John U Print
Tuesday, February 23 2010, 7:00pm - 9:30pm
by KathleenC Hits : 175
Cancelled due to inclement weather:: As soon as we have the details on when this will be resceduled, it will be posted here.
The response for this presentation is huge and we definitely want you to have more tools to handle procrastination, however it comes up in your life. When you do finally get to see the presentation, bring some smaller items that you are procrastinating about, such as something you need to do within a week. Smaller procrastination items will help ensure you assimilate the process. The real strength of the process though is when you expand it to much larger problems, such as gaining the courage to write that book you've been putting off for a decade or changing career paths or much larger issues you've been putting off. So bring smaller problems and know that what you will learn will scale up to whatever size problem you throw at it. Have a safe and warm evening.
Get Rid of Unwanted Procrastination -- presented by John U

The Unity Center, $10 donation

Do you find yourself procrastinating?

Spend an evening learning a simple NLP process that can help you stop putting things off and start moving ahead!

By the end of this talk by NLP Practitioner JohnU, you will:
* Replace moments of procrastination with powerful motivation
* Experience the process several times, transforming the object of
your procrastination into a reminder to move ahead
* Get past procrastination in a way that works for you
* Lead others through the process, so you can use it to help
co-workers, family members, friends, and clients to move past
procrastination.

JohnU is a recovering East Texan and has been a happy-to-be-here
Austin resident for the last ten years.  His most recent self-imposed
social experiment involved 3 months of meeting 20 new people every
day.  Ask him about what he learned about people sometime!  As an NLP
Practitioner, he blends his conventional NLP learnings with an
irreverent approach to behavioral change to create a fun, effective,
and focused strategy for helping clients.
