Rapport, Awareness, and Induction: Fundamental Rituals and Skills of Hypnosis
Presented by Jaime Nichols
February 9, 7:00 PM ($5)
Christ's Workshop
212 E. Monroe (off S. Congress)

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding about ourselves.” – Carl Jung

“The act of compassion begins with full attention, just as rapport does. You have to really see the person. If you see the person, then naturally, empathy arises. If you tune into the other person, you feel with them.” – Daniel Goleman

To derive power from a ritual it must, in some way, stand apart from our ordinary lives.” – Renee Beck and Sydney Metrick

The Austin Hypnosis Meetup provides a monthly shared experience for interested individuals at all levels of experience to learn, practice, and apply ideas and understandings about hypnosis. For the first half of this year, we will explore, practice and play by experiencing and revisiting foundation skills, techniques, and various approaches to hypnosis for self-change and insight.

Join Jaime Nichols for our February meetup as we view and share the ritual of hypnotic induction through the lens of attention.  How do we create a special space for the trance you and your client need?  Who, specifically, is being induced into what sort of experience?  Imagine what sort of magic can arise when we enjoy hypnosis with another, rather than to them.

Jaime Nichols is a consulting hypnotist and NLP Master Practitioner with over 7 years experience using hypnosis for smoking cessation and other habit and behavioral change. His business Welcome Suggestions
employs a variety of hypnosis and NLP techniques to assist clients in making a substantial difference in their lives.
